My name is Dr Rob and I am the Furby medical consultant. I also deal with a
number of Furby operations in both our public and private hospital.
As you may have noticed, Furbys are not like you and me.
Unlike us, they live forever whether in a state of consciousness or... not!
If your Furby seems to be asleep and does not wake up, there are a series of
procedures which can be preformed to fix them!
Free Medical Insurance for Adoption Centre Furbys
When Furbys arrive for adoption at the Centre, we check that they are
up to their highest medical and physical condition. However, just like you
and me they occasionally seem to get ill for no good reason!
If your newly adopted Furby goes wrong and it wasn't your fault we offer a 20 days free medical treatment and pay
for all postage costs within the UK. Please be aware that you should not try to operate on Furby in anyway yourself as this will void the guarantee. Problems already present in Furby are likely to occur within about ten days.
The Public Furby Hospital
If your Furby is not working and you want to get him/her
fixed we also have a public Furby Hospital. We try our utmost to fix all
Furbys that need medical attention within two weeks of arrival time (unless
otherwise stated).
Due to a high demand for the hospital and a large number
of unworking Furbys being purchased from other sources we have recently
increased our prices. We do however offer a 10% discount for all adopters
and a 20% discount for all top adopters (10 or more adoptions.)
The cost of fixing the Furby is £5 an hour plus the cost
of replacement parts and postage back to you. A rough pricelist for
common problems is listed below but occasionally operations can lead to
complications and problems that may not be apparent immediately.
If we are unable to fix the Furby or the price amounts to
being too high we only charge the cost of postage back to you. The maximum
cost of fixing a Furby is £20. Once
fixed, the Furby also has its own 15 days medical insurance in case the
problem reoccurs. Furbys are also washed for free if needed. (They get so
dirty!)
