Release Date: N/A The Fifth Generation of Furby Babies were due for release mid to late 2000, but they remain unreleased to this day. Tiger Electronics did some real experimenting with this generation, including extra long fur in the Chick and Kitten designs, making these Furby Babies look significantly larger than the standard. Also the Butterfly baby; the first time direct embroidery has been used. There was rumour of generations 6 and 7 being planned for the Furby Babies, and pictures of some prototypes of these can be found on the internet, but generation 5 is the last one for which Tiger Electronics themselves released a full set of catalogue pictures. Please note - picture credits go to the STA Tiger Electronics Prototype and Unproduced Furbys website at Toyarchive.com. |
